Visual Basic GUI iControl examples

I am very much a newb at programming and I am attempting to use iControl to automate some things. I am trying to use VB Express 2010 to create a simple gui app, but my inexperience is making this pretty hard. All of the VB programs I have seen on CodeShare have been console apps. Is there any gui apps out there that I can look at to see how that interact with iControl in a gui based app? I saw a C gui app but I know even less about C than I do about VB.
