Unable to install hot fix

Currently running 10.2.4 on LTM1600, when trying to install a Hotfix it goes until 96% and then fails.

this box has two partitions hd1.1 & hd1.2, wanted to check if there is a way to successfully install the HF in the inactive partition without having to format the disk and do LVM.

  • yes on it I can see it fails at 96% and info:target location has no binary mcp database

it actually ends as succesful (info: Hotfix installation succeeded. )but still has the same old HF in the partition..thats the reason i wanted to check if there is a way to successfully install the HF in the inactive partition without having to format the disk and do LVM.

i am unable to install hf9 (build 855.0) but engineering hotfix for ID485936 (build 855.15).

ID485936 10.2.4 HF9 rollup breaks support for partitioned disk format
